VIRGINIA RAYE DAVIS
1955 - 2004


Shawnee resident Virginia "Johnnie" Raye Palmer Davis, 49, died Tuesday, July 27 at her home.
She had been a resident of Shawnee for more than thirty years.
She was born May 25, 1955, in Ventura, California to Kenneth Raye Palmer and Mary Bowlin Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Eric Sutliff of Seminole; son, Gary Davis of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Lovett, Shana White and Preston Davis; friend, Bobby Cearley and daughter, Tasha Cearly, of the home; father and stepmother, Kenneth and Wilma Palmer of Spencer; three sisters, Donna Turner and husband, Roy, of Texas; Darla Wright of Texas; and Debbie Flurry of Oklahoma City; one brother, Sammy Fisher and wife, Robin, of Texarkana; and several nieces, nephews, and other family.
Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Gaskill Funeral Chapel.
Burial will follow at Neal Cemetery.
Gaskill Funeral Home is directing arrangements.
