REBECCA SUE COX
1954 - 1999


Shawnee resident Rebecca Sue Cox died Thursday at a local hospital. She was 44.
She was born September 3, 1954, in Shawnee to Alva Lee and Ramona Stubbs Cox.
She graduated from McLoud High School and Seminole State College.
She was employed as a scanning technician at Shawnee Medical Center Clinic.
She was involved in Challengers League for Disabled Children and was president and head coach of the Challengers T-ball league.
She was a member of the Light House Church of Galilee.
Survivors include her son, Russell Cox of Shawnee; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tina and Carl Holmes and Patricia and Steve Kramer, all of Shawnee; sisters, Vicki Lower and Candy Cox, both of Shawnee; brother, Bobby David Cox of Shawnee; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Temple Baptist Church with Darrell Phillips officiating.
Burial will be in Dale Cemetery under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be made to Challengers League for Disabled Children at P.O. Box 3108, Shawnee, Oklahoma 74802-3108.
