KEVIN RAY CORNELIUS
1931 - 2016


Kevin Ray Cornelius was born January 6, 1960, in Prague and departed this life on Saturday, November 26, 2016, in Oklahoma City at the age of 56.
Kevin, the son of James Darrell and Geneva Lurene Gilbert Cornelius, was a resident of Prague.
He married Robin Coleman on March 13, 1998, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Kevin worked in the telephone industry for over 35 years.
He enjoyed watching Rangers baseball and Thunder basketball, listening to music {specifically Pink Floyd}, making homemade wine, and spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Kevin’s father and son, Brian Lane, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife: Robin Cornelius; son and daughter-in-law: Steve Sala and Mistie Haley of Moore; daughter and son-in-law: Amy and Noah White of Okemah; grandchildren: Rya, Raylee, and Rowdy White of Okemah and Kailey Lane of Mustang; mother: Geneva Lurene Cornelius of Prague; brothers and sisters-in-law: David and Debbie Cornelius of Norman and John and Melissa Cornelius of Prague; sisters and brother-in-law: Karen and Rafe Watkins of Muskogee and LeeAnn Kennedy of Norman; and many other family and friends.
The Cornelius family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, at First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at Paden Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
