BIRDESS GERALD COLE
1939 - 2016


Birdess "Bert" Gerald Cole, age 76, of Harrah, Oklahoma was born on August 15, 1939, in Romulus, Michigan.
He was the son of Birdess W. and Lillian Arey Cole.
He left this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, in Oklahoma City.
Bert married Deanna Bierman on June 13, 1959, in Romulus, Michigan.
He retired from the Ford Motor Company where he was a factory worker.
Bert was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, McLoud, Oklahoma.
He enjoyed fishing, tinkering and watching TV, especially Fox News and preachers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Chuck and Jim and five sisters, Helen, Charlotte, Evelyn, Ethel and Ruth.
Survivors include his wife, Deanna Cole of Harrah, Oklahoma; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn Marie and David Frantz of Brownstown, Michigan, Robyn Lee and Al Nix of Harrah, Oklahoma and Tami Jo and Ray Theaker of Indianapolis, Indiana; two brothers, Bill Cole of Taylor, Michigan and Bruce Cole of Trenton, Michigan; six grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Hillside Baptist Church, McLoud, Oklahoma with Rev. Tuney Ropp officiating.
Arrangements made with Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, Oklahoma.
