GLEN MILLER CHAPMAN
1941 - 2009


Glen Miller Chapman, age 68, of Harrah, Oklahoma, was born on November 21, 1941, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
He was the son of N. B. and Eula Wallace Chapman.
He left this life on Saturday, December 26, 2009, in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Glen graduated from Tishomingo High School in 1959. He proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corp from 1959 to 1989, which included a tour in Vietnam in 1967-1968. While in the military, he was a personnel administrative chief and a drill instructor. After retiring from the military he worked for the U. S. Postal Service for 21 years where he was a rural carrier for the Newalla Post Office.
Glen enjoyed playing the guitar, the fiddle and was a fine leather craftsman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Narvan Chapman.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Chapman of Harrah, Oklahoma; son and daughter-in-law, Walt and Kelley Chapman, Crescent, Oklahoma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Terrie and Richard Dean, McLoud, Oklahoma; Regina and Keith Wright, Harrah, Oklahoma; two brothers, Tommy Chapman, Victorville, California; Raymond Sanders, Krebs, Oklahoma; sister, Doris Mead, Tishomingo, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at the First Baptist Church, Harrah, Oklahoma with Dr. Dan Campbell officiating.
Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
