SARAH JANE BRADBURY
1907 - 2002


Shawnee resident Sarah Jane Bayless Bradbury, 95, died Sunday at her daughter's home.
She was born April 19, 1907, west of Shawnee to Thomas Pike and Sara Elizebeth Kennedy Bayless.
She married Mack W. Bradbury on September 12, 1925.
Mrs. Bradbury was a homemaker and a licensed practical nurse who worked in home health care.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969; her parents; two sons, James and Faye Bradbury; a daughter, Beth Barnes; six sisters, five brothers and two grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Walter Bradbury, Oklahoma City; three daughters, Rosemary Henson and her husband Bill of Choctaw; Charlene Lynch of Shawnee; Jean Johnston and her husband, Chuck, of Shawnee; one son-in-law, Jack Barnes of Shawnee; eighteen grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Clint Dawkins officiating.
Burial will follow at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery.
