FRANCES A. BLOCK
1905 - 1998


Frances A. Block of Shawnee died Tuesday at a local nursing home. She was 93.
She was born August 16, 1905 in Harrah, the daughter of George and Martha Block.
She attended Harrah High School and was a retail sales clerk at F. W. Woolworth Co. for forty years.
She was a member of St. Benedict Church Altar Society.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one sister, Helen Hall, and one brother, Louis Block.
Surviving are two sisters, Tollie Block and Mary Hackney, both of Shawnee; nephews and nieces, Richard and Pat Hall, Tulsa; Patrick Hall, Los Angeles; Sherri {Block} and Bob Cato, Watonga; and many other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Massoth, O.S.B., officiating.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
