MICHAEL ANDREW ARMSTRONG
1985 - 2005


Shawnee resident Michael Andrew Armstrong, 20, left this world to meet his Saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 14, in Oklahoma City.
He was born May 24, 1985 to Carl A. and Paula Armstrong.
He was a 2004 graduate of Shawnee High School and was a full-time student at Seminole State College majoring in Psychology with a minor in Business.
He worked for his father and brother in the family business.
Michael loved playing chess, Final Fantasy, and attending college.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Waylon W. Snider and Blanche Snider; R. T. Armstrong; Clarence and Nadine Ray; Ira and Gladys Roberts; and grandmother Mary Jeanette Armstrong.
Survivors include his father, Carl A. Armstrong and step-mother Gina Armstrong of Shawnee; mother Paula Armstrong; sister and brother-in-law, Kristy and Justin Keeter and their daughter Addison Rhae of Tulsa; brother and sister-in-law Kurt Scott and Melissie Armstrong and their children Rainey, Bailey and Amelia of Oklahoma City; sister Candace Sweatt of Shawnee; grandfather Billy A. Armstrong and his wife Jane of Shawnee; grandmother Edna Faye Ray of Broken Arrow; grandfather Jimmy Ray and his wife Kay of Jenks; uncles, Leroy Ray of Tulsa; Bradley Ray of Jeff City, Missouri; and an aunt, Lisa Stillman and husband Shawn of St. Louis, Missouri; along with numerous cousins and friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. today at Liberty Baptist Church with Bill Matthews and Phil Thompson officiating.
Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Service of Shawnee.
