RICHARD LEE HARRIS
1933 - 2007


Richard Lee Harris was born on August 11, 1933, in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, July 13, 2007, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 73.
Richard, the son of Ollie and Lena Pratt Harris, was a resident of Prague.
He married Margie Dawson on October 29, 1954.
Richard served his country in the United States Army.
He retired from Tinker Air Force Base where he worked as an inspector. He was then able to spend more time in his outdoor activities and became a therapeutic foster parent.
His father and one sister preceded Richard in death.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Harris of the home; mother, Lena Harris of Prague; son, Richard Keith "Cheyenne" Harris of Prague; daughters and son-in-law, Ollie Jean and Larry Carpenter of Prague; Vickie Morris of Prague; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy Harris of Prague; Freddy and Lovene Harris of Shawnee; Jay and Renee Harris of Prague; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley Jean Guffey of Newcastle; Kay and Donny Walters of Edmond; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Monday, July 16, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
Interment will follow at Keokuk Cemetery in Prague.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
