CaTRINNA LaVONNE SMITH
1972 - 2011

CaTrinna LaVonne Lee Smith went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 7, 2011. She left a testimony that she was ready to go and meet the Lord.
She belonged to the Victory Chapel Church of God and was a willing worker in any capacity she was needed.
CaTrinna was born February 8, 1972 in Edmond, Oklahoma to Charles and Roberta Lee.
She graduated from Bethel High School with the Class of 1990.
On May 13, 1995 she married the love of her life, Freddie Smith. They had 16 wonderful years together.
When CaTrinna was 16 she went to work at the Golden Rule Home as a Nurses Aide and went on to pursue her goal as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1992. After that date she received several certifications including Administrator of Residential Care. She served the ministry of the Golden Rule Home for many years. Thru the years she was employed in various administrative capacities for home health agencies and hospices. At the time of her death, CaTrinna was employed with the VA Hospital.
CaTrinna’s true calling was to serve the Lord with a happy heart, love her husband ... then to spoil those precious children. Aunt Bee got a masters degree in this from all the children she knew. Aunt Bee Days was looked forward to by her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a precious daughter she lost before birth, Hannah Renae Smith whom she always loved; father, Charles LeRoy Lee; grandmother Doloris Von Dabbs; grandfather Lewie Elston Dabbs; niece CaTissa Marie Dabbs; and father-in-law Merrill D. Smith, Sr.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her husband, Charles Alferd {Freddie} Smith of the home in Shawnee; mother, Robertta Lee; brother Charles LeRoy Lee III and wife Stephanie Lee; all of Shawnee; brother Roger Bradford of Apple Valley, California; mother-in-law, Bula Smith of Shawnee; brother-in-law Merrill D. Smith, Jr. and wife Kerri of Tulsa; sisters-in-law Cindy Potter DeVilbiss; Stephanie Smith both of Shawnee; former sister-in-law and friend Renae Smith of Tulsa; niece and nephews Rachelle and Michael Potter of Shawnee; Colton, Chase and Cooper Smith of Tulsa; young cousin Spencer Jacobs of Shawnee; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends and family of God.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Victory Chapel Church of God in Shawnee.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Victory Chapel Church of God with interment following at the Johnson Cemetery.
