CARLETTA GAY TRAMBLE

August 13, 1960 - April 23, 2018

Carletta Tramble, lifelong Shawnee, Oklahoma resident passed from this life Monday, April 23, 2018 at her home.

Carletta Gay Tramble 57 yrs old, was one of two sets of twins born to Willie Lee and Neomia Johnson Tramble on August 13, 1960, in Shawnee Oklahoma.

Carletta was reared in Shawnee, OK and lived in Oklahoma City for many years. She was a long time member of Galilee Baptist Church and later joined The Church of Christ. She attended Dunbar Elementary and Shawnee High Schools. She was an active participant in sports during her stay in Shawnee School, she was a track star and won many first place medals in track.

She worked as a line worker at Allen Bradley and housekeeper at Shawnee Care Center for a few yrs before becoming a Personal and Home Care Aide for many yrs. She loved children and the children called her LeetLeet.

Preceding her in death are her parents and ten siblings: James Tramble, Paul Tramble, Baby Boy Tramble, Paulla Person, Linda K Tramble-Lee, LaDonna Tramble, Levonne Tramble, Michael Jackson, Jawaun Grant and Carlotta Tramble.

Left to treasure her memory are four sisters: Janet Person, Willie Mae Phillips, Evonne Combs of Shawnee OK and Susan Ellison Midwest City, OK; two brothers Willie (Teresa Bruner) Tramble III and Mark (Patty) Tramble Sr. of Shawnee, OK, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special cousin Joyce McClain.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2018 and continue through service time. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tyrone Tramble, Connect Church in McLoud, OK officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
