GLENDA PAULINE (PHILLIPS) MACK

April 06, 1942 - August 09, 2018

Glenda Pauline (Phillips) Mack, 76, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 in Shawnee.

She was born April 6, 1942 to Herman and Johnnie (Pruitt) Phillips in Bakersfield, California.

Glenda was raised in Bakersfield, California and attended Bakersfield and Oildale Schools.

Glenda married Joe Mack in Bakersfield on June 30, 1959. They moved to Santa Maria, California in 1961 and then Shawnee, OK in 1971 where she has since resided. Glenda spent her adult life as a dedicated homemaker, taking care of her home and family. She loved going to Church, watching Gunsmoke, sweets, going out to eat, but most of all she loved her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Phillips and Johnnie Louise Phillips Marsh; husband, Joe Mack; daughter, Debbie Jo Murray; 1 sister, Karleen Tucker; and 4 brothers, Lowell Phillips, Allen Gene Phillips, Glenn Phillips and Floyd Lee Pruitt.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Donna and John Riddle of St. Louis, OK, Glenda and Dino Hill of Lexington, OK, Darla and Chris Fleming of Shawnee, OK and April and Bryan Smith of Harrah, OK; 3 sons, Don Mack of Shawnee, OK, Darrell and Tammy Mack of Macomb, OK and Joe and Krishna Mack of Shawnee, OK; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Tommy and Tiny Phillips, Herman and Laverne Phillips, Nolan Phillips and 1 sister, Joyce and Carl Cluck all of California; and numerous other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018 with family gathering from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 17, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ron Baldridge, Downtown Pentecostal Holiness Church in Shawnee officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
