Services for Vida Joyce Williams, 85, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Kendell Martin and Darrell Phillips will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at a Shawnee hospital. She was born October 11, 1936 in Phoenix, AZ to Johnny Estes and Othel Poindexter Dollison.

She married Leonard Robert Williams. He preceded her in death in 1998. Mrs. Williams retired as a self-employed cab driver with Yellow Cab after many years, and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include her daughter, Joy Embry and husband John, Ada; son, Jon Darrell Long, Ada: a brother, James Dollison; five sisters, Sandra Dollison and husband Gene, Ada, Sharon Williams and husband Grady, Penny McDonell, Joy Jackson and Terri Dugan, all of Texas; six grandchildren, Christopher Dale Long, Kitt Michael Long, Staci Long, Randall McDaniel, Coty Embry and Chris Drumgo; and three great-grandchildren, Tristin McDaniel, Briar McDaniel and Ariel Dawson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Dollison and Othel Poindexter Golden; a son, Christopher Long; and two sisters, Erma Lee Lewis Ramsey and Delorice Jones.

Bearers will be Leo Wasson, Randall McDaniel, Coty Embry, Randy Ramsey, John Embry and Chris Drumgo.
