Services for Robert Milford White, 75, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Jimmy Hoffman and Dan Cusher will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. White passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born April 21, 1943 at Ada to Thomas Milford and Ellen Lorice Dale White. He attended Horace Mann grade school and graduated from Latta High School.

He married Karen Leann Jolley October 18, 1977 at Sherman, TX. Mr. White had previously been employed at Consumer’s Gas Station. Later, he was employed at Brockway Glass Company for 22 years. He then worked at Batey and Johns Small Engine Repair, and later Flex-N-Gate.

Mr. White was a member of Homer Baptist Church. He was a member of the CB Club; the Ada Skeet and Trap Club; the Ada Elks Lodge #1640; and the Brothers of Third Wheel; and he enjoyed golf. Mr. White served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Karen, of the home; his children, Teresa Haggard and husband Loyd, McLoud, Kresta Lofton and husband Chris, Sulphur and Brian Fox and wife Miranda, Ada; two sisters, Glynell Medler, Ada and Regina Smith, Prague; a brother, Luther White, Sulphur; his step-siblings, Vera Wanette, Jeannie, Glenda, Norma, Charles and Eddie; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Virginia Renae in 1976; a son, Gary Fox in 2011; two brothers, Johnny Johnson and Dean White; a sister Juanita Roberts; and step-siblings, Christine, Sharon and Harold.

Bearers will be his grandsons, Skylar Lofton, Daulton Fox, Hunter Fox, Brian Fox, Taner Fox, Stetson Bowerman, Michael Haggard and Brandon Haggard.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tribute Program, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
