Services for Laura Lydia Ann Cupps Welborn, 86, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church, Revs. Donna Gustin and Frank Trent will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Welborn passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at her home. She was born November 30, 1930 at Anadarko to Bert Preston and Effie Jane Edwards Cupps. She and her family moved to Ada from Anadarko when she was an infant. She attended school at Owl Creek.

She married Howard Welborn May 4, 1949. Mrs. Welborn was a beautician at several beauty shops in Ada, retiring after 22 years of service. She was a longtime member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband, Howard, of the home; two sisters, Lenora Lee and Grace Cupps, both of Ada; two brothers, Herman Cupps and wife Imogene of Fitzhugh and Fred Cupps and wife Marlene of Edmond; a brother-in-law, J. B. Owens and wife Alice of Holdenville; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and seven sisters.

Bearers will be her nephews.
