Services for Robert Earl Turner, 84, of Ada are 10:00 AM Friday, February 9, 2024, at First Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Dean Stone and Rev. Jarrod Presley will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Turner passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, in Oklahoma City. He was born March 2, 1939, in Ada, to Charles and Thelma Seckinger Turner.

Mr. Turner attended grade school in Ada and graduated from Porterville High School in California. He furthered his education at East Central University. Mr. Turner served in the military from March 15, 1956 to July 18, 1958. He was the City Manager in Tishomingo, worked for the Public Works Authority in Ardmore and was the Environmental Coordinator for the City of Ada.

Mr. Turner was a member of the Ada First Free Will Baptist Church since 1965. He was a door greeter and a member of the board.

On October 23, 1958, he married Betty Morrison. She preceded him in death on October 13, 2008. On July 25, 2009, he married Erma Williams.

Survivors are his wife, Erma, of the home; children, Steve Turner and his wife, Penny, of Ada, Robert Turner, Jr. and his wife, Dianna, of Ada, Cindy Lindsey and her husband, Paul, of Broken Arrow, Wendy Williams, of Nebraska; step-sons, Jeff Williams and his wife, Shelly, of Ada, and Mike Williams and his wife, Beth, of Stratford, TX; and brothers, John Turner, of Owasso, OK, and Charles Turner, of West Allis, Wisc.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Turner; brother, David Turner; and sister, Loretta Davis.
