Services for Lois Boyd Thompson, 79, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Ms. Thompson passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at an Ada nursing home. She was born May 16, 1936 at Gerty to George and Ethel Jones Boyd. She attended Allen schools.

Ms. Thompson was a sales clerk at T. G. and Y. and later a housekeeper and caregiver. She was of the Pentocostal Holiness faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy McCartney of Roff; three grandchildren, Dusti McCartney, Michael McCartney and wife Charity and Samantha McCartney; two great-grandchildren, Carlhie Johnson and Sydney McCartney; and a sister, Betty Meneley of Ada.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters.

Bearers will be John Wayne Hoff, Dale Boyd, Eddie Boyd, Bobby Boyd, Glen Boyd and Hardie Biggs.
