Services for Charles Wendell Stewart, 87, of Fitzhugh are 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2022 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Stewart passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at a local nursing home. He was born December 25, 1934 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Clint Edgar and Margie Pricella Price Stewart. He attended Latta schools and graduated from Latta High School.

He married Jonne Mae Tyree April 8, 1955 in Ada. Mr. Stewart was a Farmer and Carpenter and attended Fitzhugh Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jonne, of the home; daughter, Beth Chapple and husband Jay, Punta Gorda, FL; son-in-law, Phil Roblin, Pickett; sister, Phyllis Agee, Ada; three grandchildren, Megan Garlington and husband Kevin, Tulsa, Tjaden Roblin and wife Johnna, Mannsville, and Haley Cudd and husband Dustin, Pickett; five step grandsons; two great-grandchildren, Timber Roblin and Lakin Garlington; and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Kathy Roblin on Oct. 3, 2014.

Bearers will be Kevin Garlington, Dustin Cudd, Tjaden Roblin, Jay Chapple, Steve Foster and Jay Nelson.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to Fitzhugh Baptist Church, P. O. Box 133, Fitzhugh, OK 74843.
