Services for Joetta Jane Savage, 88, of Piedmont are 10:00 AM Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Criswell Funeral Home, Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Joetta went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 4, 2024 in Oklahoma City. She was born September 18, 1935 in Roff, OK to Lee and Neva Teel Gallahar.

On December 9, 1968 she married Francis L. “Frank” Savage. They were married for over 50 years. Mrs. Savage received her Master’s Degree and was an Art teacher in Guymon, OK for over 25 years until her retirement. She was a proud member of the OEA.

She enjoyed reading her bible, making dolls, painting, and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Savage was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Francis Lohman Savage of Piedmont; sons, William Freeman, Tim Freeman, Frankie Thomas Savage; daughters, Neva Johnson, Mary Coffey, D’Alpha Nell Rodriguez; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Savage is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Neva Teel Gallahar; sisters, Mary Black, Kay Strong; and brother, Paul Gallahar.
