Services for Kenneth Ervin “Ken” Roberts, 87, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church, Dr. Rusty Fuller and Revs. David Gray and Don Sayre will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Roberts passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at an Ada assisted living center. He was born November 17, 1930 at Ada to Ector Cleveland and Flossie Ann Whitehead Roberts. He graduated from Ada High School in 1948 and received a Bachelor’s degree from East Central University.

He married Ollie Elizabeth Kelley June 14, 1952. Mr. Roberts was a letter carrier with the U. S. Postal Service until his retirement. He was a longtime active member of Trinity Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Teacher, Usher and in the Senior Adult Ministry. Mr. Roberts served in the U. S. Army as Corporal from 1950 to 1953.

Survivors include his wife, Ollie, of the home; a brother-in-law, David Kelley of Ada; two sisters-in-law, Alta Jean Kelley and Pat Ryles, both of Ada; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and other family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Henry Roberts; sister, Ruby Nicklaus; and an infant brother.
