Services for Wesley Thomas Prater, 72, of Ada, are 2:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2024, at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Wes passed away unexpectantly at his home. He was born September 9, 1951, in Ada, to Jesse Worden (Ward) and Lyda Jean Prater.

Wes recently retired from his Farmers Insurance Agency, and enjoyed spending more time with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Prater, of Ada; twin brother, Jesse Worden Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Stillwater; sister, Chrystal Ganzer and her husband, Steve, of Maryland; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Wes was preceded in death by his father.

Bearers are Charlie Golightly, Chris Boettcher, Don Shipley, Fred Overton, Curtis Davidson, and Jesus DeHoyos. Honorary bearer will be Adolph Prater. Criswell Funeral Home, Ada
