Graveside services for June Ann Poindexter, 65, of Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Timothy Cornelius will officiate. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Poindexter died Friday, December 8, 2017 at her home. She was born January 17, 1952 in Chicago, IL.

She married Carson Poindexter. They were married for 50 years. Mrs. Poindexter was employed for 20 years at Valley View Regional Hospital working in the Emergency Room and Admitting Office. She was also employed with Solo Cup Company.

Survivors include her husband, Carson of the home; two daughters, Jaime Brandt of Edmond, and Michelle Bottoms of Ada; two brothers, Darryl Jacquess of Arizona, and Bobby Cameron of Oklahoma city; one sister, Debbie Welty; five grandchildren, Courtney Martin, Kayce Bottoms, Blake Bottoms, Taylor Bottoms, and Aris Brandt; five great-grandchildren, Tayven Martin, Kynlee Bottoms, Braylee Bottoms, Blayklee Bottoms, and Karsyn Bottoms.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Poindexter; and parents, Bobby Cameron, Beatrice Quick.
