-Service for Nadine Penn, 87, of Ada, will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Harold Ware will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mrs. Penn died Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born August 24, 1927 in Gotebo, Oklahoma to Aron and Hilda Brandt Thiessen. She married Willis Murl Penn on October 3, 1945 in Gotebo, OK. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2011. Mrs. Penn was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Merlene Smith and husband George A. of Ada; one son, Les Penn and wife Roxan of Ada; four grandchildren, Shelly Thomas of Guthrie, Kelly Kyle and husband Gregg of Flower Mound, TX, Sari Northcutt and husband Bill of Plano, TX and B.K. Penn and wife Christina of Oklahoma City; great-grandchildren, Cameron Gillispie, Madison Gillispie, Ryan Kyle, Austin Kyle, Marli Penn, Dalton Penn, Danielle Penn and Courtney Penn. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Murl Penn; brother, Dr. Harold Thiessen and granddaughter, Mandi Penn. Bearers will be Cameron Gillispie, Ryan Kyle, Austin Kyle, B.K. Penn, Gregg Kyle and Bill Northcutt.
