Funeral service for Reetus O. Orange, 92, of Cache, will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 3rd, 2003, in Philemon Baptist Church, Ada, OK, with Rev. C. R. Hill officiating.

Burial will be in Rose Dale Cemetery, Ada, OK, under the direction of Jefferson Funeral Home, Inc.

Mr. Orange died November 26, 2003. He was born February 27, 1911, in Chickasha, OK, to Hayes and Bertha Orange. He came to Cache in 1995 from Ada, OK.

He was married to Alberta Murphy, June 19, 1936, in Lawton, OK.

He was a member of Keaper Baptist Church, Ada, OK.

He graduated from Lincoln High School in Chickasha. He worked as a mechanic and bus driver for Oklahoma Transportation Company in Oklahoma City. He moved to Ada in August, 1936. He worked for Ford Motor Company in Ada, and he taught auto mechanics at Bying School System, and he was a qualified driver with DCL.

Survivors include: sons: J. W. McCarthy, Arlington, VA, Steve Dawson, Oklahoma City; daughter, Betty Dawson, Oklahoma City; sister, Hazel I. Smith and husband Horace Smith, Cache; 8 grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews; a special great nephew, David Smith.
