Services for Donna Kaye Mitchell, 71, of Fittstown are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Southwest Church of Christ, Danny Stewart will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Mitchell passed away, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at her home. She was born December 29, 1945 in Ada to Merle and Essie Ada Droke Frye. She attended Willard grade school and graduated from Ada High School in 1964. She graduated from East Central University with a major in Business Administration and a minor in English. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and the Alpha Honor Society. She could read, write and speak Russian fluently.

She married Marvin E. Mitchell June 1, 1968. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Southwest Church of Christ and Fittstown Church of Christ for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Mitchell, of the home; two sons, Mike Mitchell and his wife Michelle of Fittstown and Jay Mitchell and his wife Kristi of Ada; seven grandchildren, Taylor Mitchell, Jaden Mitchell, Jalee Mitchell, Kyla Mitchell, Madyson Mitchell, Paisley Mitchell and Caden Mitchell.

Bearers will be Bryan Mitchell, Roger Callison, Bill Sanmillan, Jerry Snow, Herman Burrough and Danny Barnett. Honorary bearers will be David Nimmo and the Board of Directors of the Chickasaw Nation Industries.
