Graveside services for Margaret Elizabeth Melville, 95, of Ada will be 3:30 p.m Tuesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Tony Peak will officiate.

Mrs. Melville died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at her home. She was born April 8, 1922 in the Conway Community, east of Ada, OK to Julius Franklin and Dora Lowe Jared.

She married Newton Jonathan Melville on July 10, 1947 in Wenatchee, WA. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Melville was a homemaker and a charter member of the Lovelady Baptist Church. She was a life member of the Appleatchee Riders of Wenatchee, WA.

Survivors include one daughter, Tamara Henderson of Ada; one son, Jared Melville and wife Sherrie of Ada; five grandchildren, Jennifer Devereaux and husband Scott of Wenatchee, WA, Matthew Henderson of Oklahoma City, Ashley Melville of Thousand Oaks, CA, Parker Melville of Fillmore, CA, and Jordan Melville of Ada; four great-grandchildren, Jacob and Kaden Devereaux, and Trenton and Claire Henderson, all of Wenatchee, WA; two brothers, Frank Jared of Ada, and Joe Jared of Hinton.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, William J.D. Jared and Keith Hampton Jared; three sisters, Glossye Mae Isaacs, Dolly Lavonia Deaton and Mary Vivian Jared.
