Graveside services for Joan McGaha, 93, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Rosedale Cemetery, Revs. John Haynes and Harold Ware will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. McGaha passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at an Ada assisted living center. She was born May 4, 1924 in Hartshorne, OK to Dewey C. and Ozelle Hugle Long. She graduated from Ada High School.

She married James Houston McGaha May 23, 1942. He preceded her in death April 25, 2013. Mrs. McGaha was a homemaker and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Ada. She was a member of the Gladiolas Unit of the Ada Garden Club for many years.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Hagar and her husband Bill of Ada and Mollye Haney and her husband Tom of Ada; two sons, Mike McGaha and wife Linda of Ada and Paul McGaha and wife Zelia of Tyler, TX; 13 grandchildren, Mark Hagar and wife Melody, Jill Danielson and husband Jeremy, Brett Hagar and wife Cynthia, Clint McGaha and wife Kristen, Matt McGaha, Jeff McGaha, Luke Haney and wife Angela, Bethany McGaha, Paul McGaha II and wife Elizabeth, Jacob McGaha, Jessica McGaha, Anne McGaha and Megan McGaha; and 15 great-grandchildren, Tate and Reid Danielson; Brett Hagar Jr., Rhyley , Ryan, Ryder, Riddik and Remi Hagar; Caleb and Lanie McGaha; Jake and Emma Haney; and Hadley, Hailey and Hayden McGaha.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a twin sister, Jo Long; and sister, Betty Brannon.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the First Baptist Church Falls Creek Building Fund, c/o the First Baptist Church, 521 S. Broadway, Ada, OK 74820.
