Services for Jewel Dene Burrows Mayberry, 91, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the First Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Derek Altom will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Mayberry died August 27, 2014 at her home. She was born December 10, 1922 at Crow Mountain, near Russellville, Arkansas, to Frank Gideon and Mary Sue Harkey Gideon. She came to this area as a child and graduated from Vanoss High School.

She married W.E. “Buck” Burrows on March 23, 1940 in Stratford, Oklahoma and he died May 7, 1995. She later married Bob Mayberry on November 15, 1999. Mrs. Mayberry was a homemaker and a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bob, of the home; one daughter, Susie Winters and husband Kenneth, of Ada; two sons, Edwin Burrows of Ada and Vincent Burrows and wife Teresa of Ada; four step-children, Nancy Young of Ada, Sally Pool of Ada, Robert Mayberry of Norman, Oklahoma and Carol Zabielski of Lawton, Oklahoma; one brother, Billy Ray Gideon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Joan Gideon of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.E. “Buck” Burrows; her parents; one granddaughter, Jessica; three brothers, George Gideon, James Gideon and Gene Gideon. Obituaries may be viewed and online condolences sent to criswellfh.com
