Audrey Cordula Mapp, 85, of Ada passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at an Ada nursing home.

She was born July 29, 1935 at Okemah, OK to James Allen “Jim” and Merle Esta Richardson Gammill. She graduated from Ada High School and East Central University.

Audrey married Lee Roy Mapp, Jr. April 30, 1955. He preceded her in death June 8, 1995. Mrs. Mapp was an Administrative Assistant for the Department of Human Services until her retirement.

Survivors include a son, Michael Mapp and wife Vicky, Ada; two daughters, Patricia Lee Turner and husband Harry, Henderson, NV and Janie Christian and husband John, Ada; sister, Glenda King and husband Wayne, Ada; seven grandchildren, Christi Jacobs, Tanner Thompson, Tiffany Thompson, Christopher Turner, Katie Turner Low, Stephen Mapp and Tierra Christian; five great-grandchildren; and other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Jimmy Gammill; son, Robert Mapp; and sister, Luella Fowler.

A private family graveside service is scheduled and a memorial service for Audrey will be held at a later date.
