Helen Aliene Lockwood died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her home in Wayne, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years 5 months 15 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Memorial Assembly of God church with Reverend Duane Elmore officiating. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, Oklahoma under the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Helen was born May 21, 1929 in Fleetwood, Oklahoma to James and Hazel (Grimes) Krantz. She was raised and attended school in Corona, California. Helen married Joseph Lockwood on June 16, 1945. They were married just short of 69 years. Helen worked as a beautician and owned her own flower shop in Purcell. She enjoyed knitting, ceramics, and arts and crafts of all kinds. Helen was a member of Memorial Assembly of God church in Purcell.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, James and Hazel Krantz; and her husband, Joseph Lockwood. Survivors include her sons, Jesse Lockwood and wife, Brenda, Johnny Lockwood and wife, Mary Ann, Jimmy Lockwood and wife, Stacey; 6 grandchildren, Jesse Lockwood Jr. and wife, Debbie, Joey Lockwood and wife, Michelle, Justin Lockwood and wife, Christine, Bunny Lockwood, Shannon Lockwood, Cassie Lockwood; 12 great grandchildren, Lacy, Alec, Amber, Jake, Josiah, Shelby, Rachel, Chase, Dalton, Sean, Jimmy, Robbie; 3 great-great grandchildren, Ayden, Annabelle, Jessie and numerous other relatives and friends.
