Services for Lois Lenora Kerr Lillard, 97, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jim Knight and Mr. George Hanson will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Lillard passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at her home. She was born August 7, 1920 in Lula to David Kerr and Beulah Ginn Kerr. She has lived in this area all her life and attended school in the High Hill Community.

She married William Benson “Bill” Lillard October 10, 1940. He preceded her in death July 4, 1990 in Ada. Mrs. Lillard retired from Valley View Regional Hospital after 28 years of service. She was also a homemaker, mother and farmed alongside her husband in Lula. She was a longtime member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Lula, and regularly attended worship services at Ada Church of the Nazarene for many years after moving to Ada from Lula.

Survivors include a daughter, Marva Nell Jackson of Ada; her grandsons, Dewayne Lillard, Gary Lillard and Kent Billings; granddaughters, Vanessa Sawyer and Tracey Keeling; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Waymond Lillard and Norris Lillard; a daughter, Tawana Hines; and four grandsons, Darcy Lillard, Monte Jackson, Kenneth Jackson and Wade Billings.

Bearers will be her grandsons.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Victory Home Health and Hospice for their kindness, compassion, and guidance in recent days.
