Services for Joseph Bansi Lal, 86, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 at H2O Church. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. A visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Lal passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at a local hospital. He was born September 6, 1935 to Thomas Bansi Lal and Alice Sukal Lal in Suva, Fiji.

Mr. Lal graduated high school in Fiji and later would be a minister for his community.

Survivors are his wife, Susan Brown Lal, of the home; three sons, Paul Lal and wife Cheryl, of Henderson NV, Silas Lal and wife Becky of Mesa, Arizona, and Shawn Cotton and wife Crystal of Blythe, California; two daughters, Dee Maier and husband Thomas of Littleton, Colorado, and Rebekah Roberts and husband Tyler of Ada, Oklahoma; a brother Benjamin Lal of Goodyear, Arizona; fifteen grandchildren, Andrew Lal, Tim Lal, Jon Lal, Nathan Lal, Samuel Lal, Zachary Lal, Alyssa Maier, Noah Maier, Andrew Cotton, Dayna Cotton, Derek Cotton, Kellie Cotton Elijah Roberts Jaxon Roberts, and Jules Roberts; and 7 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Priscilla Maharaj, and Isabel Boyd.

Pallbearers will be Paul Lal, Silas Lal, Tyler Roberts, and Thomas Maier. Honorary Pallbearers will be Elijah Bansi Roberts.
