Lela Kunze passed away Monday, October 17, 2016. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 20th in the Walker-Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.

Lela Christine Kunze was born December 14, 1934 in Egypt, OK to Frank and Nellie (Wells) Roddy. Lela enjoyed ceramic painting, doing bead work and sewing.

Lela is survived by two daughters; Leatha Linville of Okesa, Terri Prewitt of Ada and three sons; Tifford McConnell of Holdenville, Todd McConnell of Tulsa and Tracy McConnell of Moore. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, brother, Everett Roddy of Wynnewood, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Lela was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Junior H. McConnell, second husband, Dwight D. Kunze. sister, Toots Teal and a brother, Pete Roddy.
