Graveside services for Carl William Jeffcoat, 74, of Fittstown will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Rosedale Cemetery. A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Jeffcoat passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at his home. He was born September 24, 1945 at River Falls, Wisconsin to Stanley W. and Helen Engebretson Jeffcoat. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Oklahoma State University and received his Physician’s Assistant Certification from the University of Oklahoma.

He married Judy Snyder Kamp December 31, 1983. Mr. Jeffcoat was a Physician’s Assistant in Ada for Dr. Deen and Dr. Alexander. He had been employed with the Department of Corrections, the Konawa Clinic and the Veterans Center in Sulphur. Mr. Jeffcoat had also worked in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Mr. Jeffcoat was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America and served in many different leadership roles during his life.

Survivors include his wife, Judy, of the home; son, Tom Kamp; daughter, Tamela Iles; brother, Bruce Jeffcoat of Yukon; a sister, Joan Beatty and family of Yukon; and four grandchildren, Chase Rollings, Kristie Ballard, Thomas Kamp and Steven Kamp; and six great-grandchildren.

Honorary bearers will be Bill Neal, Dustin Moore, Darryl McCurtain, Harvie Johnson, Richard Jones, and Jay Ward.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, only 10 people may gather at the graveside, per the Governor’s Order.
