Joyce Marie Jared, at the age of 93, passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on September 7, 2017. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Travis Muse and Bob Langston will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

She was born on May 4, 1924 to Ed. C. Haley and Eva B. Vincent Haley. Growing up in Ada she graduated from Ada High School in 1942. After attending East Central University for one year, she married Joseph S. Jared, Jr. on April 29, 1944.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Eva Haley; one son, Stephen; one brother, Ed C. Haley, Jr., and grandson, Daniel C. Jared.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph S. Jared, Jr.; two sons, Joe E. Jared and his wife, Cathy, and Jeffrey W. Jared and wife Gaye; grandchildren, Joshua Jared (Brooke), Carrie Baker (Dustin), Jennifer Emerson (Alyssa), and Jessica Jared, and six great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by all her loved ones. She was an example of unselfish love, kindness, and patience.
