Services for M. Cecile Jackson, 82, of Stillwater, formerly of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Gary Jamar will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Jackson passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 in Sapulpa. She was born May 27, 1936 at Madill to Cecil and Vivian Taylor Frederick. She graduated from Ada High School, attended East Central University and graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor’s degree in Education.

She married Charles Denver Jackson December 28, 1956. Mrs. Jackson taught 1st grade at Owasso and Yale, retiring after 38 years. Previously, she taught Kindergarten in Sallisaw for seven years. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the First Christian Church in Sallisaw.

Survivors include her husband, Denver, of the home; two sons, Tim Jackson and wife Donna of Tulsa and Ronny Jackson and wife Carla of Jenks; a brother, Jerry Frederick of Silo; her grandchildren, Jennifer and Zayne James, Ada, Jeffery and Kim Jackson, San Francisco, CA, Chelsea and Waylon Holzhauer, Inola, and Garrett Jackson, Tylor Holderfield and Patric Holderfield, all of Tulsa; and two great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Aubrey James, Ada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Robert Frederick and Kenneth Frederick.

Bearers will be Jeffery Jackson, Garrett Jackson, Zayne James, Waylon Holzhauer, Jerry Frederick, Robert Frederick.
