Services for Norma Lee Hopper, 93, of Houston, TX, formerly of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Ed Mosier of Park Plaza Church of Christ/Tulsa will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Hopper passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at a Methodist hospital/Houston, TX. She was born November 12, 1923 in Coalgate, OK to Coda Alvin and Bessie Alice Jones O’Neal. She and her family moved to Ada in 1930 and she attended grade school in Struggleville and graduated from Excelsior High School in Konawa. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from East Central State Teacher’s College in Ada.

She married Raymond Harris Hopper October 4, 1946 in Ada. He preceded her in death May 12, 2005. Mrs. Hopper was a homemaker, school teacher and later a legal secretary. She was a member of Park Plaza Church of Christ in Tulsa, OK.

Survivors include a son, Phillip L. Hopper and his wife Susan of Phoenix, AZ; a daughter, Michele Hamm and her husband Greg of Houston, TX and a grandson, Carson T. Hamm and his wife Anastasia.

Bearers will be Carson Hamm, Greg Hamm, Phillip Hopper, David McCollum, Stuart Greenwood and Doug Hamm.
