Services for Johnny Lee “John” Hilton, 56, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church, Rev. John Haynes will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Hilton died Sunday, October 12, 2008 at his home. He was born July 16, 1952 at Ada, Oklahoma to John Mitchell and Ruby Lee Miller Hilton. He graduated from Byng High School in 1970 and received a Bachelor ‘s degree in Psychology from East Central University in 1979. While attended college, he worked for the Chickasaw Nation.

In 1987, Mr. Hilton was selected to serve as Special Assistant to Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby, and he continued in that position until his death. His position allowed him opportunity to help others in need of assistance.

Survivors include one brother, Bill Hilton and wife Betty, Ada; two nephews, Billy Dewayne Hilton and wife Sarah, and their children, Natalie, Olivia and Parker Hilton, Ada, and Benji Hilton and family, Ada; great nieces and great nephew, Natalie Rose Hilton, Olivia Grace Hilton, and Parker Reed Hilton; an aunt, Bertha Allen, Ada; an uncle, Claude Miller, Ada; and numerous cousins and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruby Hilton.

Bearers will be Ronnie Keever, Paul Bennett, Bill Curtis, Melvin Thompson, Stacy Williams, and Bill Foley.
