Services for Connor Jacob Hicks, 20, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church with Revs. Earl Hood and Jarrod Newby officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Connor died Monday, December 18, 2017 near Wolf, Oklahoma. He was born July 11, 1997 in Ada to Ronnie and Chasity Dawn Hatton Hicks. He attended Byng School, and was an outstanding basketball player.

Connor attended the University of Central Oklahoma Academy of Contemporary Music. He was a songwriter, professional musician, and an Administrative Aide for the Chickasaw Nation Office of Governmental Affairs. He was a member of Center Free Will Baptist and later affiliated with Life Church in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include his parents, Ronnie and Chasity Hicks of Ada; two sisters, Lanie Renee Hicks and Ella Brianne Hicks of the home; grandparents, Nellie Jane Hicks of Fitzhugh, Patti Cane and husband Morris of Vanoss, and David Dwayne Hatton and wife Dee Ann of Edmond; great-grandparents, Louise and John Ens of Ada, and Leroy Willoughby of Oil Center; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ron Hicks; great-grandmother, Reva Sue Willoughby, and great-grandfather, Leroy Hatton.



He was preceded in death by his parents, Orpheline and Vaughn Hall; wife, Norma Faye; brothers, O.D. and Jerry; sister, Elaine Payne; and grandson, David Lowell Hall.
