Services for Joy Katherine Henderson, 85, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Center Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, January 16.

Mrs. Henderson passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at her home. She was born August 23, 1937 in Hitchcock, OK to Henry Alexander and Catherine Conraddi Link.

She married Winford Eugene Henderson, October 21, 1957 in Sherman, TX. He preceded her in death March 15, 2013.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her son, Eugene and wife Sandra, of Stratford; two daughters, Darla Wilson, of Ada and Tonya Kaapke, of Moore; three brothers, Bob Link and wife Sandy, of Piedmont, Chet Link and wife Jalene, of Alex and Melvin Link and wife Linda, of Cherokee; two sisters, Doris Neely and husband Bill, of Yukon and Molly Hayes, of Broken Bow; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three grandsons, Nathan Henderson, Caleb Henderson and J.P. Hulsey and one sister, Lida Kochn.

Bearers are Gunner Haines, Austin Haines, Trapper Haines, Cooper Treat, Caleb Treat and Justin Haines.

Honorary Pallbearers are Buck Haines, Jason Haines, Josh Haines, Spencer Treat, Brendon Levingston and J.P. Hulsey.
