Services for James Dale Hayes, 72, of Kingston, formerly of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Derek Altom will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Hayes died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his home. He was born November 7, 1942 in Ada to Roy Ray and Myrrizie Lee McGaha Hayes. He lived in this area most of his life. He attended Ada grade school and graduated from Ada High School.

He married Lillie Geneva Lee on June 16, 1961 in Ada. She preceded him in death on June 1, 2014 in Durant. Mr. Hayes had been employed with the oilfield industry, Wonder Bread, Criswell Funeral Home and Wal-Mart Stores. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Richardson and her husband Jim of Ada; a son, Cody Hayes and his wife Angie of Kingston; seven grandchildren, Tara, Kayla and Tyler Hayes of Jones, Jarrid Reslor of Madill, Jessica and Cash Freeman of Ada, Emily and Jon Kimmel of Ada, and Clint Reslor of Seminole, TX; four great grandchildren, Sophya and Emma Kimmel of Ada and Ivory and Kailee Hayes of Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bearers will be his grandsons, Cash Freeman, Jon Kimmel, Tyler Hayes, Cody Hayes, Jarrid Reslor, Kenny Jones and Clint Reslor. Obituaries may be viewed and online condolences sent to Criswell Funeral Home.
