Graveside services for Richard S. Harris, 90, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2023 at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Harris died Monday, August 14, 2023 at a Sulphur VA Center. He was born June 25, 1933 in Guthrie, OK to Alva and Mildred Teskey Harris.

He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and later the National Guard Army Reserve. Mr. Harris retired as a firefighter with the Ada Fire Department after many years of service.

Survivors include his daughter, Kim Mellinger and husband Danny of Tecumseh; three grandchildren, Chris Tucker (Hillary), Amber Mellinger (Donovan) and Shelby Mellinger (Aaron); and five great-grandchildren, Hazel, Kyson, Olyvia, Sapphire and Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Robert Michael Harris.
