Norma passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday, August 20, 2015.

Graveside services will be Monday, Aug. 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Rosedale Cemetery with Sister Omega Carson of Abundant Life Tabernacle officiating.

Norma was born to Elizabeth “Betty” Hale Hollingsworth and Hobert Hollingsworth at Ralls, Texas.

Norma was baptized at Calvary Baptist church in Ralls and later attended services at Abundant Life Tabernacle in Ada.

Norma married V.L. Hall July 14, 1945 at San Diego, CA. They relocated to Ada December, 1967. She loved to sew, and in the 1970’s partnered with her sister-in-law, Jo Dean Hall, to form H & H Custom Draperies. It was the only time in her life that she worked outside the home. She continued sewing until her eyesight diminished and was unable to pursue her lifelong hobby.

She was passionate about her family. she loved each and every family member equally and without reservation. Norma asked very little for herself, her main concern was that her family had everything they needed and wanted. She was a dedicated and faithful wife to her husband V. L. for 70 years.

She was known as “Grandy” by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All the grandchildren loved to come to Grandy and Papa’s house for family gatherings and special holiday events which were held in her home until it became too big of a task for her to perform, at which time the tradition was passed to her daughter-in-law Kay.

Norma is survived by her husband, V. L., of the home; two sons, Mike and wife Kay of Ada, Ralph and wife Okie of Ada; grandsons, Vaughn and wife Shana of Shawnee, Michael and wife Crystal of McKinney, TX; granddaughters, Christine and husband Todd of Temecula, CA, Michelle and husband Don of Temecula, CA; step-grandchildren, Daniel Cabo of Ada, Dustie Alm of Connerville, Jennifer LaRue of Ada; great-grandchildren, Tripp, Cash, Ryan, James, Sierra, Emily; in addition to nieces, nephews, cousins and special lifelong friend, Opal “Dee” Bevers.
