Services for Steven Edward Gray, 79, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023 at A Place of New Hope Calvary Church, Rev. Toby Willoughby will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mr. Gray will lie in state beginning at 1:00 p.m. Thursday. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mr. Gray passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at a Tulsa Hospital. He was born to Vernon and Cloreta Isaacs Gray in Ada.

On March 9, 1961 he married Nova Stinson.

Mr. Gray was employed as a contract oilfield pumper. He loved raising and showing pigs but most of all he loved his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Nova, of the home; two sons, Clark Gray and wife Lori, of Ada and Mark Gray and wife Kelly, of Ada; one daughter, April Elliott and husband Jeff, of Ada; two brothers, Rodney Gray and wife Janice, of Norman and Mike Gray, of Ada; one sister, Vickie Cartwright and husband Bill, of Moore; 13 grandchildren, Montana Gray, Terra Gray, Chandler Elliott, Mason Gray, Lauren Gann, Jaydyn Gray, Emory Butler, Ethan Elliott, Memphis Gray, Brenna Gann, Avery Elliott, Madelyn Gray and Novalee Elliott; and one great grandchild, Jareth Clark.

Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild, Lance Gray.

Bearers are Chandler Elliott, Mason Gray, Ethan Elliott, Avery Elliott, Memphis Gray and Trevor Butler.
