Services for Alice Rebecca “Becky” Ebanks, 72, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Coy Howry and her brother, Jack Cooper will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Ebanks died March 11, 2020 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born May 19, 1947 in Ada, Oklahoma to Curtis and Nelrose Pennington Cooper. She graduated from Ada High School in 1965.

She married Chester Ebanks. She graduated from ECU in 1968 receiving a Bachelor’s in Education, and also received her Master’s in Early Childhood Development. She taught school in Potosi, MO, Okemah and Sperry, OK, Cayman Islands, and wrote the curriculum for Chickasaw Child Development Center, and she was employed there at the time of her death.

Survivors include her husband, Chester; a son, Shea Ebanks and wife Kim, North Side, Cayman Islands; two daughters, Penny Mulliniks and husband, Eric, Okmulgee and Toni Ebanks, Ada; four brothers, Tommy Cooper and wife Carolyn, Ada, Joe Cooper and wife Rebecca of Ft. Smith, AR, Sam Cooper of Ada, and Jack Cooper of Edmond; eight grandchildren, Esmerelda McLaughlin, Sadie Ebanks, Wilson Ebanks, Sylvia Mulliniks, Jason Mulliniks, Jimmie Mulliniks, Eric Black and Emma Black; and several nieces and nephews.

Bearers will be Kevin Cooper, Ryan Cooper, Randall Cooper, Eli Flinn, Andrew Robinett and Kody Wilson..
