Graveside services for Carl Sherman Dobbins, 82, of Roff are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Rosedale Cemetery. Rev. B. C. Strickland will officiate. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery. Mr. Dobbins passed away Friday, September 8, 2023 at a Pauls Valley nursing home. He was born March 18, 1941 at Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Dillard Dee and Lula Ella Whitehead Dobbins. He served in the U. S. Air Force.<>br>
He married Earlene Marie Dobbins. She preceded him in death February 26, 2007. Mr. Dobbins worked in Oilfield Production for Kerr McGee Corporation. Carl loved to bass fish at Lakeport, TX. He enjoyed bowling and participated in the World Wide Air Force Championship in 1965. He went up against the World Champion 5 man team.

Survivors include two step-sons, Russell Turner, Mesquite, TX and Jerry Turner, Victoria, TX; three brothers, Cleburn Dobbins, Elmore City, Dillard Dobbins and wife Pat, Lubbock, TX and Lee Dobbins and wife Shirley, Roff; a sister, Della Rose Price and husband Cliff, Eufaula; and a grandchild, Pepper Turner.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two sons, Thomas Haley Dobbins and Terry Turner; two sisters, Berniece Wright and Eva Sue Dobbins; and three brothers, Wilburn Dobbins, Rayburn Dobbins and Kenneth Dobbins.
