Graveside services for James Dixon, 80, are 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023 at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mr. Dixon passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in Ada. He was born September 27, 1942 in McAlester, OK to Amos Truman and Lorene Harris Dixon.

In 1966, he married Mary Maloy. He earned his Bachelor’s from East Central University and his Master’s in Psychology from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Dixon worked for the State of Oklahoma as a Professional Rehabilitation Counselor. He served in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife; one son, Cody Dixon and wife Vivian; one daughter, Crystal Dixon; and one granddaughter, ViVi Pham.
