Services for Lois Lee Davis, 89, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Ada Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church, Revs. Frank Trent and Donna Gustin will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Ms. Davis passed away, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at an Ada nursing home. She was born August 18, 1927 at the Canyon Creek Community near Jessie, OK to Elmer Edward and Leona Peacher Davis. She attended school at Onward and Harden City.

Ms. Davis moved to Ada from the Stonewall/Jessie area in 1953. She was a housekeeper for the Ackley family for several years. She was employed with Brockway Glass Company, retiring in 1986 after 33 years of service. She was a member of the Ada Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she served as Church Secretary for 29 years.

Survivors include two sisters, Zena Mae McCraw of Ardmore and Dovie Leval Spence of Ada; numerous nieces and nephews. She was everyone’s “Aunt Lois”. Aunt Lois made birthday cakes, crocheted and quilted many blankets for the special people in her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Leona Davis and two brothers, John Davis and Thomas Davis.

Bearers will be John Parker, Carl Nowlin, Jimmie Tilley, Tim Cornelius, Daniel Blythe and Curt Frye. Honorary bearers will be Kent Lee, Jason Lee and Jim Wilson.
