Graveside services for Lou Ella Cottrell, 97, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate.

Mrs. Cottrell passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 at a local nursing home. She was born November 20, 1923 in Lula, OK to Henry L. and Edith Rowe Teel.

She married Lillard A. Cottrell July 30, 1946. He preceded her in death November 22, 1987. Mrs. Cottrell was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of College Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Paula Cottrell, Oklahoma City; son, Jerry Cottrell, Ada; two grandchildren, Angela Sollazzo and Caleb Cottrell, both of Ada; four great-grandchildren, Leah, Sara, Ashtyn and Austin; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Beverly Neilson; sister, Barbara Nickell; and four brothers, Marvin Teel, Coy Teel, Clifford Teel and Pete Teel.
