Services for Mary Ann Chronister, 76, of Ada are 2:00 PM Friday, January 19, 2024 at Criswell Funeral Home, Rev. Chad Kaminski will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday.

Mrs. Chronister passed away January 11, 2024 in Ada at a local care facility. She was born February 3, 1947 in Ada, OK to Dutch Johnson and Lorene Kelley.

She was a graduate of Ada High School. On July 16, 1969, she married Richard Wayne Chronister. Mrs. Chronister worked as a home health nurse for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by two sons, Tim Chronister and wife Amy of Ada and Mark Chronister of Ada; two sisters, Carol Cook and husband Charles of Ada, Ramona Thomas and husband Kit of Lago Vista, TX; four grandchildren, Coy Cranford of Ada, Ashley Chronister and fiancé Riley McCracken of Fittstown, Kennadi Chronister and Greyson Chronister; brother-in-law, Doug Turner of Ada; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Chronister was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents, Dutch Johnson and Lorene Kelley; and two sisters, Pearl McAnally and husband Gary and Linda Turner.

The family would like to extend a big thank you to all her care givers from Ballards and Halo Hospice.

Bearers are Tim Chronister, Mark Chronister, Coy Cranford, Jeremy Turner, Ronnie York, and Greyson Chronister.
